We were visiting family who live up north this weekend. They have only seen my dd once and she is 4 months old and have only seen ds a hanful of times.
Exp wanted to have the kids over night so I said we would be leaving at about 4.30 and would drop them to him when we were bk. I txt him to let him know this would be about half 8.
All he would have had to do was put ds straight to bed and then give dd her night feed and again get her to bed. Thus giving him today to spend enjoying the kids..... however when I told him it would be half 8 he started the usual lines and his final excuse was "i think thats a little bit late"
He regually keeps ds up past his bedtime so I really cant see what the issue was. I would have understood it it had been half 11 but this IMO was a perfectly reasonable time. Both dc's were even in their pj's so he wouldnt have even had to do that.
He knew I had plans for the evening as I was going out for a few drinks with my older sister and a friend but this had to be canceled as he wouldnt have the kids and I couldnt find anyone else at such short notice. It was the first night out I would have had in 3 months and I actually really needed it.

he wants to see the kids today but I feel likie telling him to get stuffed. Im just fed up of being constantly messed about by him.
