to feel uncomfortable at this ?

My DH, DS and I were at a party last weekend with some friends. I had forgotten to take our camera so asked one of the guys to take a picture of the 3 of us. He did and then I noticed a while later that he was sat on the opposite side of the table taking pictures of me by myself. I noticed because he was taking them and showing them to the woman next to him and saying how lovely they were. He then took a further one and showed " the picture of your beautiful wife" to my DH.
My DH thinks I am being wierd feeling uncomfortable about this as I had asked him to take a picture to start with. I think if my DH was doing this then I would think it was a bit strange. Must say that his wife and DD were sat at the same table. Pretty quickly after he had shown my DH the pic he then took a picture of "my beautiful wife and daughter"
Am I being unreasonable to feel uncomfortable ?

Depends...did he spend the night looking at you, creeping you out, 'bumping' into you, there everytime you turned round?

If he paid no further attention you for the rest of the evening then maybe he just being nice or maybe had a new camera and was enjoying being 'allowed' to use it. If his wife didn't seem bothered then he's probably just a nice guy and she's used to him being complimentory to people.

However, if you could feel that he kept 'watching' you all night or was being weird consistantly through the evening where yuo're concerned, then I'd be a bit uneasy!

nah, might be a bit camera happy like me.I love taking pics and love being able to get someone a lovely one of loved ones.
He was showing your hubby and his wife was there, highly unlikely to be odd. What do you think he'll do with pics then? [wnk]

YABU. He sounds like one of these people who compulsively take pictures of everyone on social occasions and then send them to all.

I expect he just likes taking photos and felt comfortable taking them of you as you had already asked him to.

At a christening I went to recently a guy who I knew through a friend of a friend was taking photos of everyone including me and my children (not posed, just snapping away).
My friend later sent me a disc with loads of beautiful pics of my children that her friend had sent on to her from the day.
They are some of the best photos I have got of my children!

I wouldn't worry this is the type of thing I would do, and the drunker I get the more pictures I take.

My oh thought I was having an affair as I had taken so many pictures of some strange man with a beard and moustache.

hmm - I feel a bit mean now He does love his camera and was probably just enjoying using it as it was a lovely setting! and I am looking forward to seeing the pictures.

I'd have been embarassed and he would have been turned to stone by my H's cold stare.

That would have made me feel uncomfortable too, probably totally innocent and he just likes takings photo's, but a little strange if you don't know him very well.
