To Think That Calling Names To Anybody Asking For Their Advice Or Opiinion Is Sad

I never really thought i would be bothered by namecalling at this age (46) but i cant believe what some mn's have recently called another mn. Now i know i am not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but to be honest i was disgusted by one comment in particular.
Now maybe if it was RL then it wouldnt have happened.

SharpMolarBear · 26/10/2008 11:16

definitely link please
that sounds insulting/semi joking
can't find it on search
(yes, I'm very busy!)

mooog · 26/10/2008 11:16

I defo know that some threads can get you worked up but come on . What the hell was that!

OP posts:
harleyd · 26/10/2008 11:16

well, i do tend to agree that on that thread to op is an absolute wanker..

DippyDora · 26/10/2008 11:16

Is this the troll thread?

harleyd · 26/10/2008 11:17

the op even

Bucharest · 26/10/2008 11:17

Tbh, I've read all these recent threads, and I normally stay out of them, but it's all a bit pots and kettles.

Moog, everybody ended up being unreasonable. The people calling you names, and the stuff you were coming out with. I'd let it go if I were you, and maybe try and be a little more sensitive next time. If stuff is really offensive then report it and get it removed by MNHQ, instead of rallying the troops on another thread...

Not digging at you, that's been done enough already. But it kind of is understandable.

DippyDora · 26/10/2008 11:18

oh man we need a link

Bucharest · 26/10/2008 11:18

Oh sorry, thought you were talking about your threads moog.....

mooog · 26/10/2008 11:18

Still not sure what link means yet ( srill learning )
But it is a op asking if she is being unreasonable about council property
If you must know pg 13

OP posts:
SharpMolarBear · 26/10/2008 11:18

OK was slightly OTT but the OP said "I've come on to piss people off", think that was just giving her what she said she wanted
Anyway, that was a troll thread, this is a thread about a troll thread so think I'll levae it now. Nothing at all to do with the fact that my house is a tip and SS would take my DS away if they saw it (quite rightly too). No, am just taking a moral stand ...

Dragonbutter · 26/10/2008 11:18

but some posters are big fat hairy *untbags.
i would only get annoyed if they were talking about me tbh.
or my mate sharpy.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 26/10/2008 11:20

I saw that one too. Was not impressed. You're really taken back to the school playground at times on MN. All these daft people that hide behind their computer monitors typing whatever insult that comes into their head first. They would never behave like that in real life. Probably they did at school though - you know the type, Mooog. These types of people just aren't very nice. Even if it's said to make other posters laugh, it sometimes veers towards a ganging up mentality, typical of a certain type of teenage girl.

mooog · 26/10/2008 11:20

Bucharest Thank god for that i thought i had missed that one

OP posts:
ScareyBitchFeast · 26/10/2008 11:21

blows raspberry at stirrer.
it used to be so peaceful here
