to be a bit shocked when I went into the garden centre today

went in and saw all the Halloween stuff. fine it is October.
the rest of the shop seemed to be full of Christmas displays.....................in October!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be fair it's only 9 weeks away. I've thought about starting to buy stuff as it's easier spreading the cost over a couple of months.

It used to really bother me but it doesn't now.

buying stuff early is one thing. but this was the full works, proper dispalys with reindeers.

have done most of my shopping already, makes the run up to xmas so much more enjoyable if you don't have the panic of buying presents to deal with.

middle of October I don't mind quite so much - it was the year they were putting out all the baubles on August Bank Holiday that got to me!

I was in Costa Coffee the day before yesterday, and they were playing IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER.
