to think tesco wild alskan sustainably sourced salmon fillets were lovely till i noticed they were from a Chinese factory!!!

I think scottish scampi or prawns are shipped to china for processing and then returned here for sale too. Apparently it's cheaper than employing scottish labourers and they have to be hand peeled, but it seems so wrong.

I saw a programme a while ago about this.

Alot of fish caught and sold in teh UK is processed in china.

Cheaper labour etc.

Shocking really...

i bought those when they were on offer too! The children loved them. I didnt look on pack about the chinese aspect. V disappointing.
