When I turn up with my 5 year old and the place is locked, bolted and no sign of life...ring the party child's mother to be told "oh we changed the date to 2nd November, sorry"!!!

How can you possibly forget to tell EVERYONE? You cannot. It is impossible. You change the party date and it does not occur to you to inform ANY of the guests? Crap. Missing 1 or 2 people off, fair enough, disorganised but forgivable. But everyone? Crock of shit.
