was the water clean? have you cleaned it recently? Have you got some dettol? Think i'd rather just buy a new one.

Yep, it will be fine, take the batteries out though had the same thing with my mobile, it still working fine.

it may work again if you dry it out, but it will most likely pack up a few months down the line.
