Stayfrosty, I used to love JB and would defend her to all comers (ie men) she was so forthright and cool, but she has been increasingly batshit over the last few years (she is a bit of a starf**er too, all that Diana stuff and the rest), i lost track of the garbage she was peddling after she left the guardian - god that was ages ago. Hmmn IKWYM about GG (see i can do acronymns too - but what does pmsl, stfu and FGM mean please? sorry to be dense ) she is also a bit mad, or is it that we just characterize older intelligent women that way. Just realised though, in this genre of men arsing around on telly, I really liked Martin Clunes and some dogs (or whatever it was called). No doubt we'll get a spate of these programmes now - Stephen Fry and some goats, Grif and some herring, Paul Merton and a badger.
