Was walking to work this morning and the board said in huge black letters at small child level: "I tortured girl and chopped her head off"! It was a Daily Record headline...am I wrong to think this is a bit inappropriate!

I agree with you completly.

That is terrible!! I also agree strongly! Even going into a paper shop is awful, all those images and headlines are too much for a child to take in. Not just the awful ones about torture, violence, war which are terrifying for adults let alone children, but what about magazines that have poor women criticised for being fat, thin etc, disgusting. I just want my children to stay children for as long as they possibly can, without having all this sociological stress enforced onto them.
