...to expect DH to stop touching himself?

I've been with DH 14 years and he's always been a ball juggler but recently he just cannot seem to keep his hands on the outside of his trousers.
It's really starting to grate on me. Every conceivable moment he puts his hands on the inside of his underwear and I can see juggling, sweeping, stroking, squeezing going on and I cannot stand it a moment longer.
I've made very, very subtle comments/jokes but he does not take the hint.
Even in sleep, he cannot roll over or adjust his pillow without first subconsiouly (sp?) checking his cocks still there!
My fear is that if gets so habitual he'll do it loads in company. Even when he's talking to the kids his pulling his cock and juggling his balls the whole time.
How do I get him to stop, it's doing my head in?

Obviously you know your DH's particular personality, but if it was my husband and the subtle hints weren't working then I'd just say 'Will you PLEASE stop doing that?' and then ask him if he's aware how much he does it. As you say, it's probably become so habitual he doesn't realise he's doing it.

For what it's worth, my 16 year old neighbour tells me that the soccer scholarship boys at her college are, to a man, to be found with their hands down their kecks the entire time. It's possibly a cool thing amongst the kids that we're just not aware of...

when I was younger like 16 I had a few friends that that held their hands inside there waist band of track

But for a grown man to keep touching his bits is not nice. I would probably scream at him every time I saw him doing it. Esp if doing it infrount of the children.

My Dh did this on occasion, i've had to get blunt. My FIL does it looooads and it makes me ill. So when i caught DH doing it i just asked does he itch? Has he a problem he may be embarrassed to share? The challenging embarrassed him and no, no thrush, no crabs nothing.

So ive told him, "your dad has his dick in his hand every time he talks to me, i dont want any daughter in law of ours to say the same about you! its sick!"

YOu do need to mention it (at first calmly) because it's very likely he doesn't realise he's doing it. Habits like this (and hair-twiddling, nail-biting, sniffing, cracking knuckles etc) all drive other people nuts but are never being done just to annoy you. Oh, and try to set aside any 'euuurgh, willies' squeamishness about what he's doing, it's no worse than constant nose-picking or humming or whatever.
Tell him it gets on your nerves. Find out if he's under extra stress at the moment (nervous/fidgety habits intensify when a person is stressed) and ask him to try to stop, and when he does it, tell him to stop but without too much hostility.
