Well it should be business as usual for the RBS (as well as the other banks) as this is exactly what the 'bail out' package is for.

Can't help you on the warning front though!

I wouldn't panic, but I would make sure I had my CV together and would start looking at what other jobs were out there. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

have you got unemployment insurance?
I took this ut a few months ago as i am likely to be made redundant at some point in the next 12 months.
Although i'll be gutted as i love my job, i also have peace of mind as i would be able to be off work and pay all the bills for up to 12 months if it did happen.

th\ank you for your messages!

ive got insurance on my debts IYKWIM

no other jobs i could do i think! after DS was born i applied for a squliilion jobs that were nights and didnt get any of them, so had to go back to the bank.

was just a bit worried aboout how i might be an early target. am usually v.good at my job but it was 4am and i had had an extememly bad year! (PND, etc blah)

Also , working nights means i think we are a tiny bit safer as ther re only 5 of us, one leaving soon as well (yey)

Its just that we aren't a 'unique' office, we're just the only ones open at night.
