because i've done it all 2 years ago with DD1 and it was mind numbingly boooooooring.
and it's not like we get a choice of schools in this area anyway. tis this one or nothing so it's tough poo if you don't like it.
actually and luckily is v good school but that is not the point.
DD2 isn't interested and will only get wound up and stressed by the thought of it all.
so.
do i develop a major illness within the next half hour or not?

I got Dh to do it 2nd time round

DevilishDisasterArea · 08/10/2008 17:33

Dh refusing insisting on goingto bed early - works crap hours so understandable.

Oh well, shouldn't take long.

You'd hate for dd2 to turn around in a few years and ask why you'd done it for dd1 and not her!

Enjoy [evil laugh emoticon]

One of the joys of motherhood!

lilolilmanchester · 08/10/2008 18:08

Lucky you - we've been to 5 and it really was very tedious by the last one!

WendyWeber · 08/10/2008 18:09

I can't think of a single reason why you should have to go, actually - you don't want to go, she doesn't want to go & there's no choice involved - stay in & eat chocolate.

(They don't take a register, do they, & not give you a place if you don't turn up? )

fullmoonfiend · 08/10/2008 18:10

oh god, I face my third visit this evening. It's is tedious. And it's like ''come and look at what yu could have won''. We live next door to the utterly crap school. Ds cries at the thought of going there. So we are going to look round the nice schools in the hope that positive visualisation and miracles do happen

DevilishDisasterArea · 08/10/2008 19:22

a, back. and resisted the urge to heckle. going into school brings out the worst teenager in me.
and they did take a register

No need to go a second time. Don't bother.
