at the begining of last week ds brought(or bought) a ipod from CEX for £100. it is faulty and he is taking it back.
he has the receipt, yet I have been told that as he no longer has the box(plain white box, not ipod box) he won't get all his money back.
wtf is that all about?
surely as he has the receipt and it wasn't a "proper" ipod box it shouldn't matter(yes I binned it)

If it's faulty, not having the box isn't an issue.

If he was exchanging it because he didn't like the colour, it would.
