i was going to post it last night but i forgot just got reminded by thoise other threads

we were just coming up to the road and she niped acxross before i had a chance to work out wehat happened

on a previous occasion i went into a building through people smoking outside and walked upstairs and realised my t shirt was on fire!

i ducked into the loo and tried to get it off as quick as possible that was very scafy

Maybe you should start carrying a small fire extingusher with you, could be a life saver

My Sister once threw a fag out the front of the car I was in the back it came in my window and burnt my face still have the scar GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

my exh is a forensic fire investiagtor and he recently used tyhat experience of mine in a report as evidence as someone had claimed that their clothing caught fire in similar circumstances

My charming MIL dropped one on the beach once and I stood on it and burnt my bare foot. Was quite pleased actually that I stood on it, could have been toddling DD who got a fag burn otherwise.

This happened over four years ago and I am still seething.

I am shocked how inconsiderate people are that smoke ( I smoke) I will now watch what I am doing when I am smoking and walking.

Last year I was driving with the windows down and when I got home I was sure I could smell burning in the car. Then I realised it was coming from a lit fag end that had got onto the back seat and had rolled between the back cushion and the seat cushion and was smouldering away. It must have been thrown in the car accidentally when I stopped at the lights and I never saw it.

This could obv have been a really bad accident - what if I had had pasengers in the back, or children, or something else very flammable?

When DD1 was tiny (only a few months old) someone did this and it landed in her pram. After I'd fshed it out and checked all was OK I went after the guy who had luckily stoped at the nearby busstop and when totally off mu nut at him.

Looking back I was stupid because he was a big guy and it was not a particularly pleasant part of town. But as it turned out he was hugely apologetic and I ended up feeling bad for my outburst. I doubt he'll ever be so casual with his fags though, as he looked seriously sheepish over it.

I saw him again not long after and he had two small children with him so I think that helped ram the message home to him.

I would have gone mad at her. Fag burns hurt.

I think it is worse since the smoking ban - so many more people smoke outdoors now. I've noticed if I am walking through town during the day, it is one endless haze of fag smoke because office workers are all outside having a smoke.

I totally [heart] the smoking ban though.
