im getting depressed that he's nearly 2!!

NotBigNotClever · 30/09/2008 21:40

Oooh, just be careful what you wish for. For a couple of years my life had so much "excitement" that I am now a shrivelled husk of my former self. Am quite liking the boredom, myself.

poppy34 · 30/09/2008 21:42

oh god I can't wait for that -dd fantastic and gorgeous but hard work at 3 months

Twelvelegs · 30/09/2008 21:43

Human maybe??

singyswife · 30/09/2008 21:43

I am now at the stage where mine come straight in from school and go out to play, I am bored I am not happy as I LOVE going out to play with my dd's. It's not fair that they have to grow up.

SilkCutMama · 30/09/2008 21:44

Can I really put a fly in the ointment and say I can't wait for this stage?

megandtyler · 30/09/2008 21:56

diaster
I don't think you are being unreasonable you need to have something that is for yourself.Something that does not invovle kids or partner just you.
have you thought about a dance class or doing a evening class at college.
you need a new challenge.

mrsruffallo · 30/09/2008 21:58

Yes, your day sounds very dull.
Don't you have interesting conversations/ interests in common with them?
Maybe it's the routine of work that you are more bored of?
Maybe go somewhere after school tomorrow?

DisasterArea · 30/09/2008 22:00

SAD setting in. boring routine. tiredness. work. impending hormonal teenagehood. what ever. tis jsut dull. we need excitement. may sell the house. buy a campervan and travel the world.

SilkCutMama · 30/09/2008 22:03

scm chants
"campervan, campervan, campervan"

do it, do it, do it

mrsruffallo · 30/09/2008 22:03

I think it's easy to get stuck in a rut. It's not neccessarily motherhood, but the daily grind.

megandtyler · 30/09/2008 22:04
