Poor old dog.

mehgalegs · 30/09/2008 20:11

If she is old then I think YABU - what if she hurts herself?

smeeinit · 30/09/2008 20:16

your right mehgalegs and thats why i feel unreasonable!

Bit sad if she's old. But I have to admit that one of the funniest things I've seen was our old (as in 'late'... he wasn't old when this happened, before anyone calls the RSPCA!) dog running full pelt along a wooden platform by the side of the river (the sort of quay thing where you tie up boats and climb on and off... must have a name, but I've gone blank). Dog runs full pelt along platform, gets to end, tries to stop, discovers platform is icy and keeps going very fast off the end and into water. I swear he was 'back-pedalling' as he went down, like in Tom & Jerry when they run off a high cliff.

Can you put a few rugs or old blankets down for your sis's dog? Not only might she hurt herself, but she'll scratch your floors to bits.

My dog always slides about on shiny floor when he comes in from outside if its wet funniest was when he ran slap bang into new patio doors tho

Put rubber gloves on her feet.
