So, today I want to:

move house
emigrate
start a business
learn french
go swimming
start pilates
go dancing
dig out bush in front garden
buy new flowers for garden
make marinade for tasty chicken receipe I found on the web
hoover upstairs
put up curtains
buy curtain hooks
take library books back
clean mould off windowsills

But instead I have:
entertained a 2yo
fed and changed and coo'd at a 3month old
let washing machine repair man in
put 2 loads of washing on
been to tesco
made chicken curry
got children to bed
closed curtains
made a cup of tea
started laptop
not even done the washing up
or picked up the dirty nappies from the floor
or hung washing out
or put shopping away

Slovenly, slovenly, slovenly

Don't be daft, you have done loads. Give yourself a pat on the back, you have survived a day with 2 young kids!

PeaMcLean · 29/09/2008 21:51

YANBU by the way

eviz · 29/09/2008 21:53

Heres my list (ahem)

Got kids up, ready and walked them to school.
Went on MN, then went back to bed until time to pick DD up (12pm)
Food shopping
Bank
Picked other DC up
Cooked dinner
Did homework with DS
Put laundry in washing machine and some on to dry
DH came home from work - had dinner
Went back to bed

I am pregnant and very tired but still
Do you feel better??

eviz · 30/09/2008 16:18

DEBZ - you want to emigrate too?! I'll be your partner in crime if you like
Bloomingfedup sounds like a perfectly respectable day to me - especially being pg (I have no excuse anymore)

So today I:
Got DD1 ready for nursery, dropped her off
Drove to my mum's with DD2, she made me tea and toast, watched This Morning followed by 60 minute makeover whilst under a duvet with a baby asleep on my shoulder
Took some clothes back to TK MAXX (terrible impulse buyer, me)
Now on MN AGAIN rather than tidying up, and still have chicken to marinade
And going out for a drink tonight

Love these lists - more more more!

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 30/09/2008 17:35

lol at the emigration!!

cyteen · 30/09/2008 17:45

today in the cyteen house i have:

MNed in the morning (while feeding/winding sleep-resistant 4 wk old DS)
cleaned up poo nappy of doom and soothed understandably upset DS
put a wash on and hung it out, apparently - can't quite remember when that happened
walked grumpy 4 wk old DS down our shitty high street in the pram, to sainsbo's, where i bought a load of random crap
pushed pram with screaming baby and shopping back to house, trying to calculate exactly how much my back and legs hurt and how many more screams i could hear without starting myself
fed/winded baby in neverending cycle
walked baby back to doctor's so i could get anti-bs and nose cream to treat my horrible nose full of coldsores
sat in chemist listening to baby scream and scream while twat behind the counter tried to engage me in small talk instead of just giving me the bloody drugs so I could go home
not cried

It's been great!

Starbear · 30/09/2008 17:55

Also have a very sore throat, headache and feel generally yucky. Went to work, coughed over everyone loudly until they let me go home sat on the sofa feeling like yukky. Just put the washing on the rack. Oh! I forgot must, must pick up pick kid. I knew I forgot something.
Will be back later on MN as DH gone to QPR instead of doing all our filing, stop paying two house contents insurance and start paying at least one house insurance (men!)Plan to make biscuits for DS's party Ha Ha Sainsbury's here we come.
Bye see you later. Glad to know I'm not the only lazy tart around.

cyteen · 30/09/2008 17:57

hmm, scratch 'not cried' from my list.

Starbear · 30/09/2008 20:25

Cyteen, When DS cried like that I would say to myself that he not a refugee in some dark Satanic place on earth, Somalia he will be fed soon clean and warm. It carmed me down at the time. Also say out loud to yourself he is just excercising his lunges. it get better. But I'm sort of glad I could only have one

Starbear · 30/09/2008 20:26

spelling and grammer have gone to pot. Might go now for a hot toddy and bed!

cyteen · 30/09/2008 20:28

Thanks Starbear Hope you feel better soon!
