I have a piece of blue cheese that I bought from the Farmer's market and as soon as DD is in bed I'm going to eat it as if it were a bar of chocolate
I just wish I had wine.

Helsbels4 · 26/09/2008 21:11

Am here with my second largish glass of red wine and have just eaten three slices of hot buttered toast. Am supposed to be on healthy eating kick . Ho hum

peachsmuggler · 26/09/2008 21:25

Have just eaten most of indian "feast" and am contemplating melting a snickers bar over some ice cream. Would that be so very bad...I mean in the great scheme of things?

bluebump · 26/09/2008 21:29

No yanbu, I've just had two bowls of ice cream and I don't really like ice cream that much all because i've not got any chocolate to go with my wine!

purpleturtle · 26/09/2008 21:31

Glass of red and a big bar of fruit & nut by my side. Yay!

moondog · 26/09/2008 21:32

I'm with you. I'm on Merlot and Green & Black's 85% dark chocolate.

Cheers!

SixSpotBurnet · 26/09/2008 21:45

Well, I've had rather a lot of the chocolate, but the wine is still corked - partly because my bonkers DS3 is still bouncing around upstairs!

NoNoNoNo · 26/09/2008 21:50

me too - Italian merlot and rather weird Finnish cholcolate-covered-salmiak (sort of a liquorice thing, but saltier)

But anyway, weirdness aside, red wine and chocolate ... yay!

TheCrackFox · 26/09/2008 21:55

YABU - I am trying to lose weight and I ma ver jealous.

Well my pesky DS3 (only aged 4, but has autism, so not all down to my bad parenting) didn't go to sleep until 10.30 pm and even then it was only because I sat on his bedroom floor in order to stop him getting out of bed AGAIN! So I am still on my first glss of wine now - but it is very nice!

Yorkiegirl - I hope that you of all people are treating yourself right! Take care!

Anyway, happy Friday night to all mumsnetters, whether of a sweet or savoury disposition (and whether bibulous or abstemious)!
