What do you mean too tired?
To tired to play or too tired for life?

SlartyBartFast · 21/09/2008 11:51

maybe... If he's not used to the exercise then he will be tired for the first few weeks but will get used to it over time and the exercise will have positive health benefits and over time may increase his energy levels. Of course rugby carries quite a risk of injury too which you may think negates the benefits of the exercise.

AbbeyA · 21/09/2008 11:56

I should do your utmost to encourage any game playing that gives a lot of exercise.

SlartyBartFast · 21/09/2008 11:57

ok, feeling quilty for bannign it now, perhaps will have a rethink.
but he dare not refuse to go once i have started paying for it!

although of course the threat of injuries is a worry.

poppy34 · 21/09/2008 12:05

slarty - aren't they limited to touch rugby etc when they are younger ?

SlartyBartFast · 21/09/2008 12:06

he is 13. no, this is the only sport he does or doesnt do.
he gave up before because we moved but i have vague recollections of trying to get him up on a sunday morning before.
perhaps it will get better.
