I seem to get two sets of post now - one at about 10am which is anything recorded delivery, then another at approx 15:30 which is just normal post. I'm sure they never use to do this.

Lauriefairycake · 12/09/2008 18:09

my god, your poor postperson

AbbaFan · 12/09/2008 18:12

That is a bit too late.

Mine never comes before 11am now.

ajm200 · 12/09/2008 18:13

When our postie is off sometimes we don't get a delivery at all.

A few weeks ago, it turned up really late and the lady had to get me to sign for something, apologised for the lateness and explained that this was her third round of the day (she'd been working 12 hours and wasn't finished yet) as she was covering for sick colleagues.

Sometimes it is unavoidable.

it is rediculous

theyve stopped morning post here so now its just after half 4 that we get our post

MargeSimpsonMyAlterEgo · 12/09/2008 20:40

You could think of it as being early for the following day?

Our postie almost never brings anything on Tuesdays - I really do think he is part-time.

tjacksonpfc · 12/09/2008 21:44

the post on a tuesday is always light because nothing gets posted on a weekend anymore as for your poor post people just think of them in the winter when it is raining or slowing and you still get your mail no matter what time it arrives half of you need to look beyond the summer months and stop winging

worley · 12/09/2008 21:52

our post doesnt arrive till nearly 12noon,
and then we're lucky if it's actually for us, as we live in "The Street" and there are several streets in lots of local villages, i dont know why people bother with postcodes as they dont seem to take any notice of them or the actual village name!
