to expect not to have clean up someone else's puppy's accidents in my home

We have friend/frequent visitor who brings round his very amusing and totally crazy puppy when he visits.
Most of the time all is fine but on THREE occasions now puppy has peed on kitchen floor and he has not got up to deal with it.
We say 'oh don't worry, she's a puppy' and he apologises but never cleans it up.
It's starting to really piss me off

Just say he has to clean it all up - why does he think it's acceptable to just leave it?

Not sure - maybe because he's already drunk most of our wine and his reason is a bit skewed...

next time the pup does it say ''you know where the mop and bucket is''. perhaps have a bucket of soapy water ready!

YAB a bit U. If you say don't worry about it, then he is doing as you say and not worrying about it. Next time try saying 'Puppy has had a pee - here is the mop and bucket love'

Next time you visit one of you or one of your children should wazz all over his floor.

Apologise then sit down again and demand more tea and biscuits.

Puppies are rubbish.

Don't worry as in, 'It's very easily dealt with' and I had better add 'by you...'

if you say dont worry then he's obviously doing as you ask. If you want him to clear up after the puppy then you need to be more assertive.

I would always offer to clean up after my dogs if they had an accident at someone else's house, but having said that my Mil's dog had the shits all over my kitchen floor and tbh I just felt it was easier/quicker for me to clear it up at the time than to go and tell her/give her cleaning implements to do it etc.

Sorry but your friend is being an ae. I would be absolutely mortified if I was him/her. I would be falling over myself to clean it up/apologise.

Next time he comes round I would say "sorry the puppy will have to stay outside, I'm sick of clearing up puppy piss".

That should get the message across.

If it were my puppy I would get up like a shot to clean up, whether it be a close friend's house or not. Especially if I saw it happening in front of me.

If I were you, I would, next time, make a remark like funnybunnies suggested, kind of laughing but serious too IYKWIM. He should get the hint!

That is nasty. Next time you go around to their house, you know what to do on their kitchen floor... lower your pants and squat!
