YANBU. Today has felt longer than the rest of the school holidays. I am on my hands and knees struggling to the end. Bedtime's going to be a killer, and I'm contemplating wine to get through it.

It was so long I feel like I have aged a lot. do you think I could make dh look after and go to bed. he has just come in from work?

i see no reason why not, and get him to do the DIY whilst he is at it, maybe paint a room or something?

Oh God, it has gone on for about six weeks. We have been out, been cycling, watched Narnia (again...), played on cbeebies website, read Horrid Henry stories....and he STILL wants to know what we're doing next [exhausted emoticon]

Have handed him over to DH who has just walked through the door and am now sitting here on MN refusing to move or interact with anyone ever again in RL

I was just enjoying 5 minutes peace thinking tonight might be easy(ish)when DS2 attacked DS1 for playing with the box for his new shoes.

Wish my DH was home . He's not back til 7pm. I'm on here to keep myself sane.

I'll have a bit of lemon drizzle unless anyone's got any coffee cake. Haven't had that for ages, what with all the free time I haven't had this summer...
