In leaving my mate,

Went out for my friend's 21st tonight, he is v.v.drunk. He lives 5 doors down from me.

Walked him home, as we were walking down our street he started to vom, got him home, he vommed down himself.

So got him into the bathroom, got his (vommity) shirt off him and into a plastic bag, got him two pints of water and left him to it.

I would rather not watch someone be sick although can stomach it but have no great intrest in watching him sick up peach coloured vomit.

BUT am worried he will choke on it or something. Have texted him housemate to check on him when she gets in...

you did the right thing, I'd just add to make sure he sleeps in his side, not to choke on his own vomit.

holeyguacamoley · 29/08/2008 00:49

Go check on him! if you have the time nd energy to be mnetting and he is not far away go check! until someone else gets in.

WickedBitchoftheEast · 29/08/2008 00:59

agree with holeyg, get ur butt down there and see to your friend, you may need him to return a favour one day!

He's only 5 doors down, definitely check on him, you surely won't sleep for worrying!

twinsetandpearls · 29/08/2008 01:25

I would not have left him.

Tas1 · 29/08/2008 08:22

I would not have left him, good chance of choking om own vomit or swollowing own tounge. If he has had that much to drink, could also go into toxic shock from alcohol poisoning.

He needs to be watched until he sobers up.

To update I did check on him a few times before I went to bed and then his housemate came in, he is fine but hungover.

He was not unconciously drunk or anything just being sick.

Sigh of relief
