Perfectly reasnoable. I always try to leave it a bit just to make sure they are really dead. :-/

piratecat · 25/08/2008 11:58

they are very dead, but still in tact, which tbh is worse than the bits in a way.

yesterday my cat sat outside the door scoffing a slow worm, then proceeded to oik it back up.

now that was revloting.

Don't you just love it when the cat does that. I always have to pluck up the courage to pick up the dead stuff!

If they are outside something will probably come and eat them if you leave them for a bit.

MatNanPlus · 25/08/2008 12:15

Perfectly reasonable, at least when you HAVE to dispose of them they will be clean

piratecat · 25/08/2008 12:27

When I came home from the weeks coastal holiday on Saturday, I was greeted by a dead mouse in the snappy trap. It stayed there for about half an hour, maybe longer whilst I plucked up the courage to get rid of it. UGH!!! had to go though.

LazyLinePainterJane · 25/08/2008 12:52

[boak] at the slow worm.

Half a frog is pretty grim, so is the shock when they bring in a whole one and you don't realise until it jumps across your feet the next day. Talk about heart attack!!

I left a dead mouse out for two days once. It was on top of the shed. I thought I would leave it for DP [I know wimp!] then he got home from work late and the next day it was pissing it down so left it again. It was in classic dead mouse pose- on its back with legs in the air. Anyway overnight it disapeared! Always hoped it had been revived by rain.
