it's our money and it's upto us what we spend it on.
if we want a nice house etc we will have one.

do you remember that taste programme when people proudly sat on their sofa and described the favourite things about their home

and the camera roved around ironically filming the utter shite

is it that sort of house you have..

forevercleaning · 22/08/2008 16:17

Cos seems to me that you are extremely bothered by it!

Tittybangbang · 22/08/2008 16:17

Oh go on drbread. You'll enjoy it once you've started.

Have you got lots of ensuites?

A wet room?

Do you have a walk in larder?

Solid walnut flooring throughout?

Is it a new build? On one of those 'executive estates'?

Please indulge me.

drbread · 22/08/2008 16:17

because im not taking other people's money on false pretences.
can you really not see that?

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 22/08/2008 16:18

i think a lot of black iron railings with gold tips is best

Elffriend · 22/08/2008 16:18

I'm losing the plot a bit here. Might have to go back to work.

C'mon Dr, a really good troll would be giving us a bit more to go on here. Have I missed a thread or what?

zippitippitoes · 22/08/2008 16:19

was it on mn...is it that rather boring looking thread about how many rooms has your house

thefunkypea · 22/08/2008 16:19

zippitippitoes · 22/08/2008 16:20

drbread · 22/08/2008 16:20

incase you have forgotten, my question is.
wtf makes someone think they have the right to tell me what sort of house I should live in and comment on what I spend my money on.

OP posts:
WideWebWitch · 22/08/2008 16:20

Oh please describe your BIG erm house

Elffriend · 22/08/2008 16:20

I've always been fond of the pillars and stone lions look myself.

Mock tudor anyone?

i'm picturing a lovely spread in "hello!!!!I'm a Twunt" Magazine.

Got to say, I'm rather in awe and humbled.

WideWebWitch · 22/08/2008 16:20

You need to tell us who it was who said it and why

we need context

Zippi - I wondered that, but I can't find the thread now.

drbread · 22/08/2008 16:21

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 22/08/2008 16:22

nowirehangers · 22/08/2008 16:22

peanut
Because money doesn't make you happy, as study after study shows
Once you have enough to not worry about immediate day to day things - ie roof over yr head, not starving, bills paid the extra makes no difference
I know someone who always flies first class, is he happy, no because someone in the same field as him always flies in a private jet.
This troll sorry person is a fine example of this

jimjamshaslefttheyurt · 22/08/2008 16:22

Do you have floating shelves?

OrmIrian · 22/08/2008 16:23

Nothing gives them 'the right' to comment. They don't need it. Because you don't have the right to stop them. You can sit and snort and get cross about it, but nowt else.

'They' can hold any opinion they like and express it. So can you. As you clearly do.

Elffriend · 22/08/2008 16:24

Cos we're bored, it's Friday and we like feeding trolls.

No other reason.

Really, we could not give a throw rug about the state or size of your house. But you must be bored too so go on, go for it!

Swedes · 22/08/2008 16:24

drbread - Good luck in the sixth form.

drbread · 22/08/2008 16:24

no, its an old convent.
don't you think floating shlfs would look a bit shit.
just because you have them in your house good for you.

Tittybangbang · 22/08/2008 16:24
