in england we would all be better off as we wouldn't need to pay anywhere near as much tax, to support scotland and ireland's finacial dependence.

im sick of the way they bleat on about wanting to be there own country and independent.
and the scotish kids getting uni free, funded by us etc.

what do you think?

Ah yes...quite right oops! Hehe...I live here as well.[south east Ireland]

stleger · 18/08/2008 19:41

(I get confused by the Irish health system referring to Louth as the northeast though. I'm in Cork).

madcol · 18/08/2008 19:46

BlueGreySky is a big fat troll and no mistake. Anyone else see the CS thread? A boycott is in order.

louii · 18/08/2008 19:49

Unfortunately there are not enough Scots "bleating" on about Independence or we would have it by now.

Doobydoo · 18/08/2008 19:52

Doobydoo

I am in Baltimore next week. To look at the rain at this rate.

stleger · 18/08/2008 20:08

Have we successfully hijacked this thread though? How was the chess Kerry? Glad all is well chipmonkey? Would anyone like a wee cup of tea?

BreeVanderCampLGJ · 18/08/2008 20:09

OOh some smoked salmon and brown bread would go down a treat.

stleger · 18/08/2008 20:10

I was in Baltimore last week, and we avoided the rain quite well. It was mostly dry between 11am and 11pm!

That really is not helping StL we will be a house share, five adults and four children.

I will be ramming the car with DVDs for them.

sherbetdipdab · 18/08/2008 20:12

Yeah, I came across this troll last week, in fact I heard Lowri Turner saying almost this exact OP on the Wright Stuff the other week.

Are you in fact Lowri Turner trying to educate herself ready for her next appearance chez Channel 5?

Kerrymum - love Nambarrie tea, but I can't get it down here, and even if I could it would taste awful with the water

bran · 18/08/2008 20:15

Have any pedants already been on to point out that the title should have said either "we can all pay at most half the amount of tax" or "we can all at least halve the amount of tax".

expatinscotland · 18/08/2008 20:16

Are you for real?

Ireland's been a republic since the 1920s?

Another day, another troll post.

Seriously, hope school starts back soon.
