Not for sinister reasons! DH has taken our DS (17mo) to his mums for the night/tommorrow day. I'm normally in bed by half ten at the latest, but I can't bring myself to go upstairs An evening to myself is so rare I don't want it to end!

So far I've:

been to the BIIIIGGG Tesco (thrilling huh - but thats life these days lol) and leisurely strolled the clothing/homewares/electrical aisles.
drunk a bottle of red
eaten lots of chocolate and 3 rather disgusting chicken nuggety things from Tesco
watched a bit of Atonement, the end of The Prestige, and all of 28 weeks later
only done one bit of washing up and emptied the washing machine.

Its the little things isnt it

I'm the same.
I love it when I have the house to myself late at night.
I get to choose the tv channel, and I get to turn it off and just listen to the silence.

Enjoy your lie-in tomorrow.

thank you

hee hee - even better I've just discovered I haven't quite finished the chocolate!!

But I suspect I shall wake at 5.30 as usual waiting for DS to start yelling for milk!

The nice thing will be not having to get up and give him it
