went to get school shoes at John Lewis on saturday

was wondering why dh wanted to go there but thought nothing of it

oh but what is this? an offer on ipod and Bose says he, what a coincidence

I harrumphed and said there wasn't anything wrong with the stereo we had but it was purchased anyway after a discussion hissing fit

well, it is great! it has millions of songs on and you press shuffle and off it goes for hours. The Bose thing is v loud and fab too

so do I continue to moan and roll my eyes or admit it and say he was right?

Ha ha Olive - DH bought one last year - reckons is is the dogs bollocks - made our recordable DVD player and surround sound thingy redundant and cost another £50 for the man to come and sort out the TV wiring becuause DH is a numpty and had bodged everythig up and so far we have saved absolutely zero CDs onto it because he is sooo dumb he doesn't know how to do it and I have refused!

Now if I had spent £1200 on shoes and clothes they would have been worn to death and not have cost us anymore money!

I recently had to admit that it was brilliant having a normal sized tv after postponing replacing our 14" one for the past two years or so.

It's good for the soul to accept when you''ve been a berk.
