I went to one of their restaurants on 20th July and was really dissapointed with the standard of cleanliness of the highchairs they had. I complained on the day and was told that the one my DD was in was only 3 months old and that the tray got cleaned every morning and that the harness gets cleaned on a Monday (bearing in mind this was a Sunday!!!!). The highchair was gross! The plastic of the seat had been ripped off exposing old foam on most of the seat bottom and the harness was caked in old sticky food. The lady did not seem to understand my point, but said thank you she would note it down!!!!!
I then went on their website and complained as I was sure my "feedback" had fallen on deaf ears. A week later - nothing so I wrote again. A week later I rang (yesterday) and was told that something was in the post to me, which arrived later in the day. The letter basically said nothing other than the highchairs do wear very quickly and that they are deep cleaned once a week. There was a sorry - but not a titter about the fact that what I experienced was unacceptable.
I know this is probably a subject that has been moaned about before but I'm really angry that a family orientated restaraunt doesn't seem to take this sort of thing seriously.

Haha badger, that takes me back. I used to run the birthday parties too - for peanuts an hour - and remember heaving myself under the tables to scrape up squished chips and other horribleness from the carpet and going through the ball pit wondering what exactly I would find.

I remember, I never properly washed the high chairs I think mostly because I didn't realise food was put directly on them (because I was young and foolish). Oh dear.

I used to have a fabric seat thing in my bag you put on a normal chair for DS when he was small and had to it in a highchair then if they are minging you can always use your own and bund it in the wash when you get home. (mind youthat is because I am a control freak and a clean freak and they are never clean enough for me anyway!)
