To expect Tesco to sell school uniform in other colours apart from blue?

I went to our local, big branch of Tesco today to buy some school cardigans and school socks (green) for dd1. I bought some there last year.

They have loads of blue school dresses, cardigans, jumpers and socks, but not a single red or green item to be seen anywhere. It was the same when I went in two weeks ago, and I thought they'd have some new stock by now. They have rail upon rail of blue school socks reduced from £5 to £1 .

Bizarre.

(end of rant)

is there a 'blue school' near you?

Ours have it spot on, some are red (the catholic church 5 mins away)

the others are blue (the school our ds's go to also 5 mins away).

the rest is black (ds's new senior school)
I thought they'd supply due to demand?

Our tesco is exactly the same. DD's Red school is 5 minutes walk away yet they only stock Blue.

Asda stock them all.

It's a big Tesco not too far from the city centre, so people come to it from all over town. There are plenty of red and green schools around here.

I'll try the Asda.

We need red too, and our Tescos rarely stock. But nor do Woolworths, so i have to trek into the next city to get it from M&S or Asda
