?????

I decided to go sunbathe. shocking really as I am so freckly I normally avoid the sun, but I felt like trying (yet again) to get some type of colour seeing as I have actually become daring and bought myself a dress.

DH came out to join me and first of all sat next to me to have a chat.

cue him covering his eyes and squealing like a stuck pig over the glow.

"what glow" says me, all innocent.

"the glow of you" says he, all evil cackle like.

I am now sat inside sulking........I KNOW I am white, but I was there thinking I had quite nice creamy white skin (and since I have lst weight my belly is looking rather fab or so I thought (rather vainly).

I do not like being likened to a glow worm and it being insinuated that people could lie near me and not need a torch at night......

he is mean!!!!

Divorce him, he is clearly playing mind games with you.
And clearly abnormal, any other man would offer to put sun cream on you

Psychomum5 · 27/07/2008 16:10

I thought so too...

especially as all the children are playing out the front/at friends/on scout camp.

he does not realise what he is missing out on....

Get a spray tan!

Psychomum5 · 27/07/2008 16:16

mrsmattie, tried that once. I looked very unatural........seriously, I am so pale that anything other than a faint glow (which I have only got when I am pregnant) looks most strange.

last time DH kept joking "you've been tango'd. t'was not amusing aftere all his mates sung it too me at the wedding that was the reason for me to try the tan.....

Sod him then, the cheeky sod! Surely he fell for your ivory complexion in the first place?

Psychomum5 · 27/07/2008 16:30

well....I still reckon he only went out with me as my glow showed up his deep tan........he was then 19 and very toned.

shame really that only the tan is still there.....but would I say something cutting......

P5 would you like me to come and slap your DP?

I look like a bottle of milk I am so pale, DH1 being a buildre always has a tan BUT I have the answer...my new DP is ginger and next to him I look possitavly brown.... kick out DH and get a ginger Or put a sun lame in your box!!

Psychomum5 · 27/07/2008 16:59

do you know the irony of your comment kimi????

DH is a builder, he is deeply tanned (he also has the skin tone anyway as we have the proof in three of our children), but when he forgets to shave his stubble is ginger and so his nickname is ginge!!!!

I have ginger skin-tone tho, thanks to my dad who is very ginger (as are my brothers)......and the worst thing, they all tan... I with the brunette hair (well, now dyed blond), go a paler shade of white (or red if I forget the sunspray)

Ooh ooh - put some sort of dye in his shower gel.... he won't notice to start with and then he will stain his entire body including head!

Psychomum5 · 28/07/2008 08:31

lol, flame you evil mare.

only problem is that the boys tend to use his stuff in the shower at times ((they like to smell like men)), would not be a good look......
