The building where I work is on a side street in the centre of town and the side door of a pub is on the street. Tonight I finished around 8ish and so the pub was quite busy and outside the side entrance of the pub 2 men and a woman and I noticed the men were sniffing cocaine or something along those lines and it was still light outside ffs. I work in theatre and it was a kids show so I was afraid that a child might come out and see these wrs at it but I didn't do anything when one of the guys shouted over to me 'you should try this, it might make you a bit of weight' to which I replied 'shut the f up dckhead'. I never swear but something inside me boiled. Was I unreasonable (apart from risking my own safety, of course)

ooh lola, kinda risky but totally justified

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 25/07/2008 21:08

Course not, they were rude and breaking the law. You on the other hand just swore at them. People like that are a waste of space, sorry you had to go through that.

SugarBird · 25/07/2008 21:09

Not unreasonable in the slightest. What a prat!

callmeovercautious · 25/07/2008 21:09

What a t**t. Are you OK. These things worry you afterwards don't they?

It might make you a bit of a weight? I don't understand that; it doesn't make sense?

Risky but know why you did it. To be honest, I would have said 10 times worse.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 25/07/2008 21:11

Sorry for the rant but I get really pissed off with the way we are supposed to put up with other people's rudenss and bad behaviour because they "could" go completely OTT and stab you or something. And the police won't do anything, so essentially you DO have to put up or shut up. It's like everything's gone bloody loony!

cornsilk · 25/07/2008 21:11

At times like that I really wish I was an undercover cop like in Life on Mars and I could duff him up in the police car.

LolaTheShowgirl · 25/07/2008 21:13

Yes i'm fine thanks. People like those stop people coming to the theatre (where I work) and it really upsets me in an angry way. Thing is, there is a cctv camera operated by some place with close links to the police and more often than not the camera is usually trained on the side street on a fri and sat nights so i'm praying it may just have caught them. I was thinking of calling the police to report the illegal drug taking but thought it will be a waste of time by time they got there.

Sorry doodle I was supposed to write 'it might make you lose a bit of weight',

Ahhh, thanks for clarifying Lola.

Now, see, I would have shouted "I'm a size 6 in reality - you're looking at me through wanky smack-head goggles, you fuckwit"!!

LolaTheShowgirl · 25/07/2008 21:19

Ha ha ha ha doodle! I wish I could think of witty comebacks like that :D
