even worse, a couple of weeks ago I was actually paying for an item in a poncey shop and it came on and the proprietess started SINGING along, in my face!!! B*tch.

i don't mind blunty. i mean fair enough his music isn't exactly inspiring and i wouldn't listen to it but there's been far worse pop acts over the last decade who have been just as successfull who don't get nearly as much abuse.
and to be fair any time i've seen him interviewed (topgear) he has come across as a decent funny bloke who has had a life outside of music.
i think a lot of people who give out about him and express their murderous rage are just jumping on the bandwagon.

i've always wondered why he has been singled out for such abuse by the english public and press. and more and more i'm starting to think it's because of his accent. i used to think it was because he was pretentious and thought his music was insightful and deep when it was shallow cliches that pissed people off. but pretty much every pop star thinks that and they don't get the same level of vitriol.

I don't see the problem with him either.

Some of his music has a lot of meaning to me and I know a lot of mums of angels will say the same, Beautiful is always the top of the fantasy angel album and a couple of others of his get in.

I don't mind him as such tho when I was wedding dress shopping a couple of years ago, I went into this bridal shop and they just played James Blunt's Beautiful - over and over again.

Couldn't get out of there fast enough tbh!
