maybe i am just a tightarse but my yearly cover in the uk is under £100, yet i have just had to pay £40 for a weeks cover in france.

i know i will be thankfull i took it out if something happens but it seems like they can charge you a hefty price because most people would be to scared to go without (me included)

and i got it down to £40 by haggeling, first quotes were £50

Mine came free with my car insurance (M&S). Yet it was still one of the cheapest quotes.

The silly thing is I don't even NEED the Euro cover, because we always take DH's car abroad if and when we go (he gets free private fuel from work)
