matching pj's are cute, mastching ordinary clothes and esp coats are just embarassing!

OverMyDeadBody · 16/07/2008 20:59

matching pjs are cute! 'd probably do that.

I may draw the line at matching coats and shoes though as tempting as it may be!

Pheebe · 16/07/2008 21:00

so it would be bad to buy matching coats for me, DH and the boys then....hmmm

Fine for the kids but for god's sake don't go down the route of all matching, you, DH and the boys, that is just too wierd.

NorthernLurker · 16/07/2008 21:09

I did matching stuff when my big girls were smaller and they always looked lovely. Now I do sometime buy them the same thing or the same thing in different colours or patterns if it's something they will like but obviously they don't wear them at the same time - except by accident YANBU in my view.

Actually I think you should all match when you go out. In fact, you should all wear identical shellsuits. Such a good look.

Or not.

The passing down thing is good isn't it - sex of child permitting. I've got about four years worth of a beautiful red velvet jacket waiting for dd3

My mum used to dress me and my sister the same..................Don't do it! Think it's an 80's thing isn't it?

dressing them the same, or with identical very bright items (rainbow swimsuits, very PINK hats) can be really useful when you're looking for one in a crowd. 'Have you seen one like this >>>> but bigger / smaller?' works really well

worked best when we dyed dd1 and dd2's hair pink one summer

if you do the identical snuggly pjs thing please make sure you take photos
