As an ex-smoker I know I can be a bit anti-smoking, but purely from a health point of view.

I don't care if people want to smoke when they're not looking after my child but when I pick my dd up the room manager smells like an ashtray and it's unpleasant and unhealthy.

Am I being unreasonable or justified in wanting her to wash her hands and change her jumper after she's had a fag?

I like the idea of not smoking in thier uniform, I think that would probably work. She seems to smell more on sunny days, so I assume she's smoking outside in her uniform t-shirt.

When I worked at Blockbuuster many years ago we were told we couldn't be seen smoking in our uniforms, so it took 2 seconds to grad a coat or a jumper on our way out.

I'm sorry if I caused offence to anyone about smoking, I agree, it's about personal choice. My head is not working today and I didn't think of the ramifications of this post.
