toe nail clippings?

Coz that was what greeted me on the coffee table when I came downstairs this morning.

Why can't DH clip his toenails in the bathroom over the bin like normal people!

OMG we are married to the same man

BouncingTurtle · 10/07/2008 18:00

Clarice - what did we do to deserve such disgusting behaviour???

He sometimes lines them up on his bedside table...WTF?

BouncingTurtle · 10/07/2008 18:02

Does he measure them? Coz if they continue to grow after they have been cut it's a sign he's a demon...

ellideb · 10/07/2008 18:02

Clip your toe nails over his side of the bed, he'll soon get the message!

2shoes · 10/07/2008 18:02

put them in his drink.
yuck

BouncingTurtle · 10/07/2008 18:04

I've just told DH about them - he said he meant to put them in the bin. I pointed out I didn't want him cutting his toenails down here in the first place!

Well bouncingturtle. That will be because he thinks he has tidied them up (ie they are in a pile rather than all over the place) and he thinks that is sufficient. My DH does the same thing with his clothes. A biiiiig pile of clothes on top of the wooden chest in our bedroom is OK apparently - as long as they aren't all over the floor

JamInMyWellies · 10/07/2008 18:09

ewww, I shook the duvet out the other day and DP's toenails landed on my pillow.

Men are just revolting there is no hop for them.

Put them in his sandwiches..... he wont do it again

LazyLinePainterJane · 10/07/2008 18:49

Surely it is irrelevant where he cuts them, as long as the clippings are disposed of....

brightwell · 10/07/2008 18:50

My ex always left his toe nail clippings for me to pick up, I used to put them in his pockets, in his briefcase, on his pc keyboard. He never got the message!

BouncingTurtle · 10/07/2008 18:51

Hedgewitch - It's the fact that when he clips them downstairs, he doesn't dispose of them!
I always clip my nails in the bathroom - I thought that is was most people did? Fingers nails I'll do downstairs, but over a bin!
There are some very good suggestionshere

I usually clip mine, sat on DH's side of the bed. But onto the floor and just before I hoover up.

AuntieMaggie · 10/07/2008 19:10

I did mine in bathroom the other day and left the clippings on the floor as a hint

LazyLinePainterJane · 10/07/2008 19:23

I do mine over the sink.

I would be tempted to make a sandwich with them and give it to him but I wouldn't go that far. I would put them in his bed though.

Cryptoprocta · 10/07/2008 22:43

Burn them, so he'll get a fever.

elmoandella · 10/07/2008 22:47

at least he cuts them. my dh comes into bed and scratches me with his claws.

his fingernails too. one night he took a big chunk out my elbow. he never realised and was fast asleep. so i cut them.

he was v confused in the morning.

i really must do more things when he's in deep sleep.

tis fun!

Mine does things like that.

There is definately a case for people in relationships to live in separate houses.

Or house(me) and dog kennel/shed (him).

lucyellensmum · 11/07/2008 10:05

My DP has a fungal nail infection, if he did that i would murder him . What he does do though is flick all the fluffy bits from inside his socks out into the bath - this is a recent phenomenon but it drives me insane, i mean, why would you do that?? He does it every morning
