Banging it onto the end of sentences that are not, in fact, laugh out loud funny is just odd. I suppose they might think it makes them seem friendly, happy people?

Context is all.

Prefer roffle. But I like a good 'snort' or 'snigger' too in their place.

GoatisLOLing · 09/07/2008 17:05

squeaver · 09/07/2008 17:18

It annoys me too although strangely not when I when someone uses it in response to a particularly witty post I've made

jojosmaman · 09/07/2008 17:21

Lol at tenalady!

I use the term lol in RL now, in an ironic way. So I'll say to dp in a sarcastic manner, "it was so funny, we literally lolled" or something equally amusing.

MamaG · 09/07/2008 18:02
