Arghhhhhhh

DH has gone to local swiming baths at stupid o'clock this morning to get in queue to get DD signed up for 1 of possible 13 remaning swimming lessons on a Sunday morning. (he works early so is used to being up at this time and is off next week so I have no guilt he's lost a lie-in - oh and he volunteered )

DH went off, all prepared stopping for paper on way, collapsible chair and waterproofs with him, I did offer to make him a flask of coffee but he declined etc.

7.05am he phones to ask if he can sit inside as there are already people in there asked him why he cant just go in and ask and he has no answer. We then have conversation that if they are just sitting round they can't be staff etc. But he doesnt like asking (same as directions issue I suppose)

Now both DC's had a late night last night and we have a relative staying so he is well aware the phone would wake the whole house.

Anyway after geting off phone I turn the PC as it's a quiet thing instead of starting housework in preperation for IL's arriving later today. And I can catch up with some e-mails etc. However within 5 mins of call relative comes down - is not too bad, then DD wakes and DS has woke, the telly is on and the peace and quiet is gone. Not to mention that by 4pm today I will have to complete ratbags in place of my children.

Grrrrrrrr

Sorry rant over -

YANBU

DH ans DFIL have gone to Silverstone today (as usual they share a birthday and always go).

But he set the alarm 6.15am in our room then slept in the spare room as he was drinking last night . Then when i wake him up he proceeds to stomp quietly get ready and wakes boths dd's up. So i don't get a lie in.
