for help in a shop rather than buy the wrong thing?

DH is currently attempting to buy travel cot fitted sheets. He has rung for instructions 3 times so far. I have suggested he ask an assistant each time.

On the last call he said would i want cot or cotbed sheets!!!!!!!!!

Arrggh I want travel cot sheets. Again suggested that if he can't find ask an assistant. He put the phone down on me.

Rant over

oh no men!! no YANBU. Can you get travel cot sheets?

BetteNoire · 04/07/2008 18:24

He will come back with a toaster.

You should have drawn him a diagram, and stapled it to his forehead.

BouncingTurtle · 04/07/2008 18:25

Ahhh!! I'd better get some, I've just recently bought a travel cot.
See it is just men that are dim about such things... but at least I know enough to ask for them

Wolfgirl · 04/07/2008 18:28

LO very L. Mine is same m'dear, totally the same. I just sent mine out (literally) for basmati rice. Curry is cooked, but no rice.

DH I shouts.... can you pop out for rice. Then come the questions. Which shop. One box or two boxes... or do you prefer a bag. How much in weight? How much should I spend? should I only get some if its on the offer...........................................................

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggg ggggggghhhhhhhhhh and it goes on and on and on and on and on and on!!!

so yes. LO very L in sympathy! oooh he's back. ha ha ha

itati · 04/07/2008 18:29

You can't get travel cot sheets.

They just use normal cot sheets.

YABU - he is not buying the wrong thing. He is asking you for what you want as he knows if he asks an assistant and gets it wrong, you will be mad.

Wolfgirl · 04/07/2008 18:29

oh bugger it for me moaning. He's just bought me flowers!

rascal1979 · 04/07/2008 18:30

lol

How the hell would they cope if they had to make the decisions we mums do on a daily basis!

normal cot sheets fit travel cot......you cannot (well, you could not when mine were tiny), buy travel cot sheets.

sorry

he will return instead with a PSP, for baby to 'grow into'.....

rascal1979 · 04/07/2008 18:31

Juniperdewdrop - I do hope so otherwise he is going to be mightily pissed off that I have sent him on a wild goose chase.....{scurries off to check mothercare website}

You can get travel cot sheets, but to be honest, unless you are going to use it lots, just use normal cot ones.

Bless your dh for bringing flowers.

...and he had a little think for himself and bought nappies - which desp needed but I forgot to ask for.

Think he needs a bit of niceness from me.

Rascal, you could cut up old sheets if that is any good? If push comes to massive shove that is.

Looks like you may have found some though, so thats good

rascal1979 · 04/07/2008 18:38

no more calls so either he's found them and on his way home or I've got a new toaster, psp ......etc!!
