to think my flexible working request should have been resolved by now?

I've been on maternity leave since December, I made the request in February and it still isn't sorted, I haven't even had the first meeting, my manager has been off sick twice and now her cat is dying so she's cancelled another meeting, (v sad about cat but when my cat died I dragged myself in with mascara dripping down my face). Bloody glad I'm off until January rather than the September we initially planned on because at this rate it still won't be sorted by Christmas, arghhhhhhh!

Your employer must meet with you within 28 days of a written request, and must give you an answer within 14 days of teh meeting. They are not complying with the requirements.

You don't have to complain, just gently point out they are not complying with legislation
