Anyone with experience with daals bed?

I bought an ottoman bed with gas lift from daals. They didn’t mention weight limit for mattress which I later learnt could be an issue so I asked them, they sent me 3 different emails with 3 different weights. In their last email, they admitted being wrong previously and disclosed that weight allowed for mattress was only 40 kg for king whereas the most mattresses I am seeing are a lot more than this.

I am just wondering if anyone had an issue like this before and what did they end up doing. Returning to them is a massive headache. I have contacted my credit card company but they have given me 2 months to get back to me with an answer.

No experience, but I can see how the weight will affect the hydraulic mechanism.

Does it not specify maximum weight on the website?

Have you built the bed? If not, I'd return it.

If its built, maybe buy one of the mattresses that they recommend for it?

Maybe, as they've given you various different weights and gotten it wrong, they'd be willing to collect it for free and refund as a good-will gesture. Ask them.

Not sure what other options you have, as technically you should have considered the weight before you bought it 💁
