I've only seen Tesco and John Lewis Christmas adverts so far but neither have met my expectation.

I liked it - the kids have gone to Grandma’s old, cold house and want to bounce around and have fun but theres very little to play with. They’re more excited by lunch. The toy she brings out is for a 2 year old. Grandma learns to relax a little and create an area that’s fun for them. Yes in reality most kids would rather have the cash 😂

I cant see how they are bratty (definately not a gentle parenting type here) but I can see the lesson in the ad. If we want kids to enjoy themselves, give them spaces to be kids.

The boy desperate to give his present and the foster dad injuring himself to learn skateboarding to bond with the foster child were my favourites.

Although the happy dog on the trampoline was cute too.

I couldn't be bothered watch it after the kids ran past her.
