Entitled much? What's wrong with people?

Diana Simpson, 35, an Ivy league graduate who lives with her parents on Cambridge Street, is suing Westminster city council. She claims they failed to take into account the impact on her mental health of the arrival next door of the embassy of Montenegro. Simpson, the daughter of a former US diplomat who has lived on the street for more than three decades, is in receipt of disability benefits after being diagnosed with clinical anxiety, long Covid and a functional neurological disorder. So unsettling has the arrival of the embassy been to Simpson that her nights are regularly affected, she claims in her statement of grounds.

And why are they affected? Because she has an irrational fear (she admits it's irrational) of living next to an embassy!!! It's not a joke! WTF! What's wrong with people? How fucking entitled can you become that you think the whole world has to adapt to your irrational fears and anxiety? I had to read the article several times to make sure it wasn't a bloody joke. I'm on medication for depression and anxiety and have been for decades so I'm familiar with poor mental health but this is just CF batshit entitlement.

YANBU : People need to realise not everything in the world can our should be adapted to their liking and stop being so entitled.
YABU: The Embassy has to be moved prompto in order to reduce Miss Simpson's anxiety

So many people like… on benefits… suing councils… fighting for ‘more’… endless diagnoses… costing us all a fortune…

Cheeky fuckery tbh

She is rightfully being absolutely torn apart on X. Absolute chancing grifter.

I frequently feel the need to sleep in an alternative to my lifelong bedroom, to gain some marginal relief; sometimes pre-emptively, sometimes in the middle of the night when I cannot reason with my activated primal ‘fear’ brain response (for example, upon hearing a creak, and immediately fearing an intruder accessing my room from the embassy, despite knowing the possibility is very slim and that this response is mostly irrational

Someone has wayyyy too much time on their hands…

Embassies usually have extra security.

I think it’s relevant here she is the daughter of a US diplomat.

I can’t imagine any other nationality that would be so litigious about such a ridiculous thing.

We’ve made acceptable for the irrational to demand everyone bends to them. Society has gone so far wrong that she even feels able to show her face to make such a claim.

Ivy league educated so should in theory be able to do some critical thinking. In theory.

I bet her parents feel that the money invested in her ivy league education was worth every penny.

Haha, this is brilliant. What a hell of a niche.

I'd love to live near an embassy; got to be monied to live near an embassy!
