Ds14 has had a chesty cough for about 10 days. It got a bit better for a day or two then came back and is now quite deep and barky. He isn’t unwell in any other way, still eating well and wants to play sports. Just has this nasty cough. We are away at the moment and I’m worried that I should have got his chest checked at the doctors before we went. Would he be more unwell generally if it was a chest infection or something like that?
I do get anxious when my dc are ill as youngest has some conditions that mean she can deteriorate quickly so I am always very (a bit too) over vigilant even with a simple cough.
