Good period pants

Can anyone recommend any? I have never been able to use tampons and am sick of pads, they irritate me and feel horrible. I have had a pair of modi bodi pants in the past and also a pair of cheeky wipes - i prefer cheeky wipes as the entire pant is absorbent whereas the modi bodi ones only have the gusset and I dont really trust them as much for a heavy flow.

I still feel a bit conflicted as they are expensive and I don’t quite know how you’d manage them when out and about. Don’t fancy a full change in a public loo or carrying soiled pants around in my bag. But I do feel like I need a change. Like the idea of a mooncup but again, it’s a lot of money for something that I might not get on with.

I tend to have a really heavy first and second day, this has ramped up a lot as I approach peri. But after that it is pretty manageable. Just want a good, reliable, comfy pair that aren’t too tight but also won’t leak. Any recommendations welcome!

I’ve tried loads. In my opinion the best ones are modi bodi and wuka. Some of my modi bodis and wukas are years and years old now and still as good as new. very comfortable.
modi bodi do a great little travel pouch for used pants on the go.
I’ve also tried cheaper ones like M&S etc and there was no comparison-I’ve thrown them out !

Moon cups are a life changer! Even the cheaper versions work well as the suction principle is the same. I would never have found pants sufficient on a heavy day but the cup / pants combo is 💯

Menstral discs are a game changer. Much better than cups, in my opinion, as they don’t suction. They sit behind the pubic bone. They are a bit messy to empty so you do really need a toilet with a basin but it’s not essential.

I like Modi Bodi ones but they are quite expensive. And period pants somehow never last long 😬

I now use these from Primark:

I have some from next that are absorbent all up the back like the cheeky wipes ones

I use the ones from next and they’re great. I use a tampon or pad as well on day one which is very heavy, and often overnight on day two, but other than that they work brilliantly.
