Both me and DH taken the week off and decided to stay home in the UK this time with DS. It's day 3 of the half term and he's already running rampant, the weather is awful and DH is moody blaming stomach problems (still had a beer and whiskey last night though so can't be that bad!) he is moping around and is very non commital to any suggestions I make as for fun things to do..AIBU to ignore him and take me and DS on days out?

Just carry on with your plans, he can choose whether to engage or not.

I wouldn’t as that’s what he’s prob hoping for- leave all the entertainment and supervision of the kids to you while he has the house to himself to suit himself. I’d tell him to get his arse into gear and get ready to go out with you all.

Or tell him given he doesn’t want to do anything you will take it in turns. You will take DS out today and he will be responsible for him all day tomorrow. Don’t let him engineer you into doing all the work.

Definitely go and have a nice day with DS. But then tell him he has to take him out tomorrow by himself so you also get a break.
