Daughter aged 26 desperately wants a boob job she’s got a 5 year old and split from dad who was vile to her about her body she hates her boobs and is very down about them she has in her words no volume she’s a B cup and they are very saggy with large nipples again her words the cost in the UK is £14000 but the turkey option is £4000 I’m so worried something will happen she as asked me to attend the trip with her to get them done if push comes to shove I will go with her as she is single so wouldn’t want her on her own as anyone else had this type of operation in a foreign country can you give me any advice to support her
she is a beautiful person inside and out I just wish she didn’t have this downer on her body

It’s far less than £14,000 to have boobs done and plenty of places do it in instalments. Much better to do that than risk Turkey if she really does want them done.

PropertyD · 22/10/2026 13:41

How willl she fund this? The reason I am
saying this is that we alL want things we often cannot afford and it’s a barrier. What will happen to her child whilst this is going on and recovery. Will work give her the time off should recovery be longer than expected

It does sound like some counselling initially could help.

Can she go for a payment plan option for a UK based company? MYA offer a finance for boob jobs

DarkOutThere · 22/10/2026 13:52

Tell her to look at Nordesthetics in Lithuania.

Cheaper than UK but still in EU so much stricter medical rules.

And their orthopaedics department has NHS patients sent over from UK so they must be pretty trusted.

It's a gamble, basically. A £4,000 gamble. Winning will make her feel good, losing will affect her life permanently.

There's a reason these sorts of procedures are so cheap in Turkey

Stripperyone · 22/10/2026 15:58

Turkey does have a good rep for BAs. The risk is flying home so soon after surgery, book a holiday there rather than straight home if you worry. The surgeons there are fantastic as a rule, but look into them. Look up them, as a surgeon, not the company reputation.

Do NOT use Gary Traynor (if he's still practicing). He's rubbish and a lot of women I know who had him had issues

Edited

You're right, there is. It's down to more reasonable costs and government support though, not crap surgeons.

Some of the replies on this thread just show that people have no idea what it’s like to be in your DDs shoes.

I had my breasts done 18 years ago, and I have no regrets. Funnily enough, no amount of therapy would have fixed the fact that I had NO breast tissue 🙄 and I haven’t had any other cosmetic procedures since - having one procedure doesn’t mean you’ll suddenly find fault with every other part of your body.

They also don’t need replacing or removing every ten years. Mine still look fabulous 18 years on.

I feel for your DD, it really is miserable hating that part of your body!

Yes that’s the thing she is so down about them and doesn’t feel she can move forward with another relationship ( not that she’s ready for one after her twat if an ex) and she’s a bright girl but this is impacting on her and I can see it’s getting her so down

I have been twice, all great experiences. But I spent a long time doing my research and getting recommendations off real people.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Yes there’s bad stories but there are anywhere you go, even NHS surgeries can go wrong. x
