Teenage Girls - What Is Normal

I feel a bit destabilised after checked my 15yr old DD's Snapchat (I don't usually do this) and wanted to know if this is a me problem:
DD has recently been getting a lot of attention from boys --physically it appears like she's grown up overnight, her Snapchat consists of chats with about 20 boys.
She seems to be arranging to meet boys from there - this will come up against my boundaries of always meeting in public and me being able to track her location.
I found out that she was drinking alcohol with a friend during a sleepover the other week in a park where she and her friend ran into some boys.
One of the messages is telling her friend that a boy invited her to his home with his friends because he has the house free (I obviously wouldn't let her go to a stranger's home without a supervising adult).
I am a single parent and she is my only child, so I am a bit inexperienced and also don't have a partner to share this with.
I come from a conservative background, so this is all a bit of a shock to me. DD was born and grew up in London, and she has relative freedom of saying she's meeting a friend and hopping on the bus or tube most weekends (I keep an eye on her location).
Is this normal teenage behaviour? Am I being too lenient? Too strict?
Also when she does have a boyfriend, do I take her to the GP for the pill?! That seems awfully young.
We have had the talks about readiness, consent, coersion etc.
I suppose I'm sad because this is not how I pictured she would be.

Have you discussed contraception with her?
Your background is going to sgaoe your views and cause you to not quite understand her pov and overreact. Taking her to the GP wouldn't be the right thing to do. There will be sexual health clinics that do teen advice and it would be better if she went alone, so she can be completely honest.
Have you talked over the dangers, rape, gang rape etc?
Don't put her in a position were she has to lie to you, that will be the most dangerous thing for her.

I have a 15yo and this isn't at all normal from my pov. It sounds like she's under a lot of pressure which doesn't sound helpful.

Can you look at ways she can socialize, build friendships and a sense of her own value without this being linked to sexual attention? Does she do any hobbies you can encourage?

I think you need to be supervising her social media much more closely.

Perfectly average teenage behaviours to be experimenting with boys, alcohol and pushing boundaries .
she’s 15 so very soon legally aged to have sex anyway .
how you deal with all this is the difference- but all I would advise is don’t become suddenly overly strict because she will just hide it all from you even more. .

Travelling around London during the day time as a teenager and using public transport to meet up with friends is quite normal and age appropriate I would say. At 15 she is three years away from being an adult, potentially leaving home and being independent so its better to develop skills now. I would want her to let me know which friends she was meeting etc.

What I would be more concerned about is meeting up with people she met online and doesn't know in real life. They could be anyone so I would have a conversation about that. If she already has a friendship group etc then she doesn't need to be meeting randomers. It's more dangerous. And I wouldnt want her roaming freely at night without knowing where she was. Eg a sleepover with a friend where you know the parents will be there is fine. You are absolutely right not to want her going to a random boys house when his parents aren't there but all his friends are.

I'm not from a conservative background at all, so I'm writing in detail in case it helps you work out what is your own background and what is normal concerns. But my biggest issue would be what she posts/agrees to online rather than travelling in the day in London to meet friends. Can you have a talk about online safety and not centring men maybe? I would use that angle. I'll

Oh also, always meeting in public is an excellent rule and one that is sensible for adults women to have as well. You are very sensible imposing that as a rule as hopefully it will then become good advice once she is fully independent.
