To think dressing up as charli xcx is an acceptable Halloween costume?

I don’t like dressing up in spooky costumes anyway, and Charli is only a couple of years younger than me.

My DH thinks it’s an extremely low effort one, and that it should be horror themed.

We’re just just going out to the pub anyway…

I've never even heard of Charli xcx so I just googled her.
How people know you are dressed up as her because from the images that came up she seems pretty indistinguishable from lots and lots of other young women?

I had to google her so I wouldn’t recognise you as her (I might guess scary Spice). Halloween you can dress up as anything. Most don’t do horror.

T-shirt that says brat (her biggest album). Daughter thinks I should sprinkle flour over my clothes/coat (she’s in theory a big coke user) but obviously it’s all tongue in cheek

I'm surprised that people haven't heard of her. I mean, I still prefer traditional spooky costumes but these days it seems like anything goes. Teen DD dressed up as her last year with bright green brat t shirt and dark shades (could add long dark wig if necessary) - low effort but easily recognisable & acceptable I think.

i disagree - the flour is what would sgart to make it a costume. Otherwise you're just wearing a t-shirt that says Brat. which is v low effort.

Long dark curly wig, green outfit, and yeah white powdery stuff on you or even under your nose if you're brave? You can use fake blood, fangs or contacts or both so you're the spooky/zombie/vampire version of her?
